Fifth Avenue
Ingredients – Apricot brandy, creme de cacao and a little cream. Beware this drink is a little strong so you could get lucky, anything is possible.

Ingredients – Absinthe, Chambord liqueur, fresh lemon juice then shake on ice and strain into a shot glass. Get ready to party.

Martini Royale

Ingredients – Vodka, some crème de cassis, two splashes of Champagne and a lemon twist. Cocktail fit for the commencement of the Olympics in London.

1. In the Ancient #Olympics Greeks were the only race allowed in competition; today the whole world is invited. That’s what makes the Olympics so great. #MarchVegas

2. If anyone knows the skills sets required to pull off those opening ceremonies, please give me a shout on FaceBook. Note: If you’re British that will include a beer as well.

3. I’m not sure I’ve seen so many gaffes from a presidential candidate like we’re seeing from Mitt. He’s been in London for only 48 hours and he’s already offended the home country; good grief.

MINT JULEP
Ingredients – Mint sprigs, crushed ice, tidbit of sugar syrup and bourbon whiskey of your choosing. Pack the ice in and you can’t go wrong.

Happy Hour Drinking Topics:
1. Willie Nelson at the Sunset Station Hotel Casino in Vegas Saturday, July 21st. I bet he drinks bourbon, but maybe without those mint sprigs.
2. Bill Cosby at the Treasure Island Theatre, July 20th.
3. If you haven’t seen the new CougarLife campaign in LA, check that out for a minute. Kelly and I agree, that does make great conversation fodder.
3.5 Why are all advertisers using the phrase “Not so much” in every frickin ad spot these days? What is that?
4. Snedeker -10 after 36 holes at the British Open. Tiger 5 back, Phil missed the cut.
5. My guess is that the word(s) “Retroactively Retired” gets into the dictionary in 5 years, no doubt.
6. What is the answer to gun control in America?
7. And if they’re not saying not so much then it’s the song “How You Like Me Now” by The Heavy for every other product. OK, the song is awesome so advertisers get a pass.
