Arizona falls to the Bruins in Pauley Pavilion. On the road, ranked 11th in the country, in hostile environment, the Wildcats lose to the UCLA Bruins. One of the reasons the West Coast teams don’t get as much respect as they should is because they are simply unpredictable. Arizona at 11 is supposed to dominate but they don’t, or they didn’t more or less.
Trailing most of the game the Wildcats clawed there way back into a game they mostly viewed from behind but (no pun intended) eventually with 3-point shooting got it close towards the end. Trailing by 3, 69 to 72 you thought there might be a chance but it wasn’t to be as the Bruins closed it out and with the victory. Grant Jerrett had 14 and Mark Lyons followed with 13 of Arizona while Shabazz Muhammad lead all scores with 18. Bruin teammates Kyle Anderson and Larry Drew had 17 and 14 respectively.
